Friday Night Sew In

After looking forward to Friday night for a while, I was pretty upset that I ended up fairly under the weather, and unable to acheive much. I did however work a little on this...

And I thought I would share a little bit of my never ending project.....

which I can never get to photograph up the right way :-p Theres not much left, just finish the border, 1 more butterfly and the stitches down the bottom are part of a dragonfly. I of course have to replace my walk about threads, and then after a few intense hours of backstitch she'll be done. Maybe by the end of the month?? One can only hope. lol.

Happy Stitching :)

What a beautiful project. I made 3 cross stitch blankets for new grandkiddos so I know what you mean when you say "never ending". It took me as long to make the quilts as it did to make the babies.

Sorry you were not feeling well, I hope you feel much better now. Hugs, Lura

Its just beautiful. I've only just discovered cross-stitch. Haven't tried it yet but can't wait to do so. Can you recommended any websites or something to start out with?

The blue knitting looks interesting. Love the colour. Looks like fairy is close to done. She looks great. I don't think there are any easy sock patterns. I have only looked at them and thought I would try that later :)
