That my posts will get a lot more exciting come January :)

 I am joining in a New Year/New Start SAL and a Miribilia SAL and my piece for the first is also Miribilia. So I'll have 2 mirabilias, my 4 HAEDs and my Historical Queenslander in rotation at that point as well as finishing off my 2 secret stitching projects :) 2015 is going to be an exciting year! 

I also have a whole heap of small pieces in mind to do and maybe at some point I will do 2 bigger projects from Colour Cascade here in Australia for my kids. Soooo much stitching to be done, so little time.

A finish!!!

Just a little finish, my aunty bought me the September edition of CrossStitch Crazy for my birthday and it came with this free kit so of course I had to put everything down and do it. I started it on Saturday (20th) and finished it today (22nd) :)

 And also I thought I'd show, most of my stitching has been on my second secret stitch :)

Historical Queenslander Progress

Well here we are in September already. Plenty of stitching has been done but 1 in    particular I wanted to share with you. I've been stitching on Historical Queenslander for an hour a day to have something to show while I stitch on the others and here it is now...

Stitching and Hiatus

I kind of took almost a 2 week hiatus from stitching, hence my lack of news, but I picked up the needle again today. 

I hit a snag on 1 of my secret stitches, with the pattern, do my rotation will change until I can get another sent.

And I've decided to get Historical Queenslander from the WIP pile for now, for just an hour each day so I have something to show off in it's entirety :)

So today....

Horribly crumpled but happy peice. 

So hopefully I've enticed my stitching bug again for a while.

Secret stitching

Well I've been busy in the last week. 2 more pieces turned up in the mail. My second secret stitch and another for my stash :)

I did more progress on my first S.S.

 And started the second

I'll keep working on them and try to make a little progress on 1 of my other WIPs to have something to show :)

The other paternI got and kitted up I've had my eye on for quite a while. I'm not sure what I'll do with it yet, I'll probably stitch it up and put it away with no names or dates yet. 

I have more stash mail on the way which is exciting. 1 more gift/secret stitch and 2 just for me. 

But that all for now, I hope you're all getting plenty of stitching time and keeping the frog at bay

What have I been up to?

Good Question! 

The first of my gift/secret stitches turned up and I've made a start on it. I'm waiting for the next 2. So there's not much I can actually show unfortunatly. I'm loving the bright colors in the piece and hope to get 2 done by Christmas. Next year will also be full of secret stitching. I have 6 at least in the wings at the moment.

'The General' update

Well I've worked on this piece for a month now whenever I got a chance to stitch.

I think I'll choose another to work on for a while now. Even though it's so close to a page finish. 

I also have some secret stitches coming up so there won't be so many photos until they are gifted but I'll certainly keep tracks of stitch numbers for updates and do a little on some I can show :)

Rotation Time Again!

I feel it's time some of my HAEDs saw time with my needle again. I was able to get my charts to where I can use them again. So this is where I'll leave Historical Queenslander for now

And I've put The General onto the Qsnaps ready to go.

How?

...did it get to the end of February already? 

I haven't done much stitching since December. Life has been crazy and march will be also as I'm moving house :) hopefully after that I can settle down again and put needle to thread. 

I miss checking all my favourite blogs and must get back into it.

So I am still here, just a really busy wife and mama :)
