A wonderful surprise/a wonderful hubby!

I mentioned that I needed some new stitching needles and he said 'well I have to go to town give me a list and I'll see what I can do' wow! Ok. So I gave him a list. Needles, Aida and needle threader.

He walks back in when he got home and asks 'how much do you love me?' Um why?

This was why!

I'm 1 happy stitching wifey!!

Another ornament finish!

I put the last stitches into my little fairy ornament tonight :) that makes 4 little ornaments so far and now I need to buy some more 14 count Aida to start more.

Not much done this week as family emergencies commanded my attention, but I got a new start,

Christmas progress and Heatwaves

I've started another little decoration. An angel this time 

Happy stitching everyone as Australia swelters through 1 of our big heat waves this week. Airconditioning and stitching in order I think :)

I'm back! And I have a finish!

Well life yet again has been crazy and my family has needed all of my attention for a while. I put down the needle for about 1 1/2 months, and now that everything is settling down I can relax again :)

With 4 days of getting my stitchy bug back I've finished a little Christmas decoration from Enjoy cross stitch's Christmas issue from last year

He's so cute and all ready to be made into a decoration.

Now my needle remembers what to do I should be around a little more again.

well shortly after my last post about him, I actually thought I had lost him. So while rummaging through some things on Thursday I was overjoyed to find him and his entire kit :) I had to give him some time in the spotlight, so here he is today..

Comfy Cozy Pic

Is it still Monday? lol

I meant to update on Monday but of course life gets in the way. Not much stitching has happened over the last week and 1/2, but this is what I dusted off last week,

Comfy Cozy came out of the cupboard for the first time in a very long time, and now looks like...

so just a little change :)

And then on the weekend, I changed over and put a few stitches into 'Wish'

 



Hoping to get some more stitching done on my QS in the next few days :)

New Week, New Start

I've started 1 of the companion pieces for my little whale finish, as I have to buy new needles to work on any of my HAEDs at the moment.

Just a little start....

Stitching Along

After stitching a little more on Love is Brilliant, we all got a virus, so my stitchy bug went into hiding for a few weeks. Now Ive decided to tempt him out with a simple, quick stitch, as all of my WIPs are full of confetti!

I enjoyed my chance to sit and stitch last night, and getting back to my HAED pieces with QS Love Is Brilliant.
